A man of 29 years has been reported to be in a very serious condition on Thursday evening around 8pm by the police after a road accident in the municipality of Verrieres.
The young driver had to rescued from his car, a Clio on secondary road 151 in the direction Criteuil – Saint-Fort-sur-le-Né near the municipality of Verrieres. With multiple wounds to the head, he was transported to the University Hospital of Bordeaux. His prognosis is reported to be critical.
Upon arrival, rescuers found the young driver, half-ejected from the vehicle, in cardiac arrest, but were able to revive him.
The accident occurred at 7.50pm at the place called “Chez Mauzée” without involving other vehicles. According to preliminary information, this driver, the sole occupant of the car, lost control on a curve of the road. His vehicle had even hit a tree at almost two meters high.
