ROAD ACCIDENT: Three Children slightly injured transported to Hospital

Three cars collided on Wednesday night around 6.45pm at the bottom of the hill of Sainte-Barbe on the RN141 in Fléac. A car veered off its lane and crashed into the oncoming traffic. A third car was unable to avoid the accident. Three children ages 5,11 and 12 were slightly injured. They were transported with their mother to the hospital at Girac by firefighters from Angoulême and La Couronne.

The accident blocked traffic in both directions, causing a traffic jam, whilst deviations were put into place. Traffic was restored around 8.30pm.
