The Online giant, Amazon distribution will recruit 450 permanent employees by the end of the year in France, meaning that they will have created 1,000 jobs in 2016, twice as much as expected, said the company in a statement released today,Friday.
These 450 posts will be created in the four existing distribution centres in France, Saran (Loiret), Lauwin-Planque (Northern), Montelimar (Drôme) and Sevrey (Saône-et-Loire), where 550 permanent jobs have been created since the beginning of the year, said Amazon.
With all these new posts, the CDI employees workforce in France the retail giant, which were 3000 early January 4000 to reach the end of the year. Besides these positions CDI, Amazon regularly uses temporary or fixed-term contracts, for example at the time of the holiday season.
The jobs created will be of permanent full-time on all types of jobs (logistics operating officers, human resources, IT …), the company said.
