Two people were seriously injured by a falling billboard in Paris.
The fall of a large billboard, hanging on hoardings, made two serious injuries avenue de la Grande Armée , close to the Porte Maillot in Paris on Monday. At around 2.50 pm., the panel flew during a gale to crash into a young couple of pedestrians, said Le Parisien .
The Paris police headquarters confirmed the accident but did not comment on the condition of the two injured. “The young woman is in a coma and was rushed to hospital under police escort”, said the commander, “Her companion was also seriously injured and suffers in particular from a fracture of the femur, which is for us as a serious injury. ”
