The twelfth stage of the Tour de France 2023, between Roanne and Belleville-en-Beaujolais was won by Spaniard Ion Izagirre (Cofidis). He won alone and beat the Frenchman Mathieu Burgaudeau (TotalEnergies). The complete classification of the 12th stage.
After a transition stage, the peloton returned to a frantic pace, this Thursday 13th July, during the 12th stage of the Tour de France 2023 between Roanne and Belleville-en-Beaujolais. This made the organisms suffer greatly, with many breaks. It was finally Ion Izagirre (Cofidis), who started in the right breakaway, who won alone. He won the second victory on this Tour for Cofidis, after that of Victor Lafay , on the second day.
For their part, the French are content with places of honour. Mathieu Burgaudeau (TotalEnergies) fails in second place while Thibaut Pinot (Groupama – FDJ) and Guillaume Martin (Cofidis) finish sixth and seventh respectively.
