More than 3,000 checks were carried out on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Paris, before the event. 18 people were arrested

6,333 checks

According to figures published by the police headquarters, 6,333 people were controlled by the police. According to the prefecture, 28 people have been arrested since Thursday morning. It did not specify the reasons for these arrests, made before the start of the event scheduled to leave at 14 hours from the Gare de l’Est with the Place de la Nation as a final point.
