Dramatic accident Friday 31st May in Bubry (Brittany). A 3 year old child died after a fall in a well in the hamlet of Kerbrient.
The dramatic accident occurred late afternoon on Friday 31st May in Bubry near Lorient (brittany). It was around 5 pm when the firefighters of the Group of recognition and intervention in perilous environment (Grimp) intervened in the hamlet of Kerbrient, in the commune of Bubry.
The child is dead
A 3-year-old who had escaped her family’s surveillance for two hours was located in a well. Unfortunately, the child died, probably from injuries following its fall.
“Terrible drama”
According to our information, the small victim was staying with her parents in her grandparents’ house for the weekend. The Mayor of Bubry, Roger Thomazo, confirmed the news of “this terrible tragedy”
. He is travelling but several of his deputies went to the bereaved family. “We will see how we can help this family to accompany him,”
added the mayor, very touched.
