The TER Bordeaux-Libourne (Gironde) crashed into a concrete slab on the rails on Wednesday night. Two children, suspected of having committed this malicious act, were arrested.
Wednesday 8th August, around 7pm, a TER Bordeaux-Libourne train that ran in the town of Ambarès-et-Lagrave (Gironde) hit a concrete plate on the rails .
The driver reacts immediately and manages to brake without damage.
The train did not derail and the accident did not hurt the train, reports France Blue Gironde.
Other concrete slabs discovered on the railway
SNCF ordered an inspection of the railway and the train was delayed for 30 minutes . Trains had to be slowed down on the sector.

Two boys aged 9 and 11 arrested
Alerted, the gendarmes patrolled the area and arrested along the tracks two boys of 9 and 11 years .
They were heard by the gendarmes and handed over to their families.
The local justice of Bordeaux must decide the follow-up to give. SNCF has filed a complaint for malicious act.
