Britain’s Geraint Thomas (Sky) took off the 11th stage of the Tour de France on Wednesday and took the leader’s jersey in the alpine resort of La Rosière.
Thomas made his solo debut with a 20 second lead over Dutchman Tom Dumoulin and teammate Chris Froome of Britain .
