The gendarmes of Sarthe have just announced speed control points for Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th June, 2018
Here are the various speed control points announced by the Gendarmerie group of Sarthe for this week on the roads of the department.
- Monday, June 25 from 9am to 12pm, on RD 307 at Le Lude (Lieu-dit La Plaine Christmas), RD 306 at Thorée-les-Pins and RD 305 at Aubigné-Racan (Lieu-dit Les Varennes);
- Monday, June 25 from 9am to 12pm, on the RD 323 at Villaines-la-Gonais (before the bridge), RD 316 at La Ferté-Bernard (ring road) and RD 7 at La Bosse (place de l’église);
- Tuesday, June 26 from 8:45 to 10:30, on the RD 357 at Chassillé (Lieu-dit Les Défaits) and Brains-sur-Gée (intersection RD 35 Amné road);
- Tuesday June 26 from 15h to 19h30, on the RD 323, commune of Clermont-Créans and Cérans-Foulletourte .
Road safety, everybody’s business
“By alerting you to these controls, our sole objective is to join forces in the fight against the unsafe road conditions for which the gendarme can do a lot but can not do everything. Thus, by alerting you to certain checks, we hope that at least on this stretch, that day, caution will prevail, “explain the gendarmes.
Naturally, other speed checks will be carried out concomitantly and throughout the week on the roads, without being announced.
