MOBILIZATION: The strike at the SNCF continues on Wednesday, with continued disturbances on the rail network

A new strike at the SNCF continues on Wednesday. With 3 Transilien out of 5, 2 TGV out of 3, 1 TER and Intercités out of 2, the traffic will be still disturbed on the railway network. On Tuesday, the 29th day of strike since early April and the launch of the movement by episodes, the management recorded 17.63% of strikers in total mid-morning.

The unions who call to continue the challenge to the SNCF “must measure their responsibility for all those who will pass the Baccalaureate” next week, warned Edouard Philippe on Tuesday.

“From June 18th to June 25th, the baccalaureate exams (which) will, of course, provoke, from those who will undergo them, those who hope to obtain their Baccalaureate and from their family, many expectations and a lot of ‘worry,’ said the head of government.

Rail reform must be finally adopted on Wednesday and Thursday at the National Assembly and Senate.  Negotiations must now take place on the future collective agreement of the sector.
