Be careful, this Carrefour Home Air Fryer Can Overheat and Melt

DANGER: A Carrefour Home brand air fryer sold throughout the country from August 1st to December 19th has been subject to a product recall since Sunday due to a risk of overheating which could damage the device and food
The Carrefour France group launched this Sunday a product recall procedure concerning an air fryer sold in all the brand’s stores in France under the Carrefour Home brand. It is important not to use it because the device could heat excessively and cause “the melting of materials located close to the resistance inside the product”, we learn about the Consumer Reminder platform.
An email address and telephone number
The phenomenon is likely to damage the air fryer, but also to render food that it contains unfit for consumption. This is why it is important to return the device to the point of sale, where a refund will be offered until March 19, 2026, when the recall measure officially ends. If you have any questions, you can contact Carrefour by email at service_consommateurs@carrefour.com or by telephone on 0 805 90 80 70.
However, not all products are affected by the recall. The model concerned is the HAF10LDU1700-25 and the potentially dangerous devices were marketed between August 1 and December 19. They have the international article code 3616959381496. To find out if an air fryer is recalled, you must look on the identification plate or on the pack.
