Carrefour: Laundry Detergent Massively Recalled in France, for “Chemical Risk”

Batches of laundry detergent are subject to a national recall due to “risks inherent in its use”, announces the RappelConso platform.
“Labeling and packaging neglect the risks inherent in its use”: in a paper published Thursday 2nd October 2025, the RappelConso platform informs that batches of laundry detergent are being massively recalled throughout France.
>Customers who have purchased them are asked to return them to the point of sale to obtain one refund, or destroy them if the product is started.
Information about the product concerned
In more detail, the detergent affected by this product recall was sold in all Carrefour stores in France. This is the “3 in 1 concentrated detergent with a fresh and sweet scent” from the Horizon brand, packaged in 30 capsules.
The lots concerned are those displaying the number 158338, with the barcode 3770034089100.
The reason for the recall? “Labeling and packaging neglect the risks inherent in its use, and the user is not informed of the presence of allergenic substances (methylisothiazoline and citronellol)”, says RappelConso.
