New event in sight in Caen (Calvados), Saturday 11th May, 2019, for the Yellow Vests. They announce a new march outside the perimeter prohibited by the prefecture.
After moving away from the city center of Caen (Calvados) for Act 25, the Yellow Vests will return Saturday 11th May, 2019. Not in the hyper-center in principle, since they are deprived because of a new prefectural decree, which fell on Thursday 9th May. They meet at the conservatory, near the town hall.
The meeting time is set at 12h, with a call to share a picnic, launched on social networks. The procession should then leave around 2pm, for a new walk in the city center. In this configuration, the route draws a crescent around the hyper-center-ville, along the meadow to reach the place Foche, before taking the direction of the port then that of the castle, where forces of the order will be repositioned to prevent access to St. Peter Street.
Roundabouts closely monitored
In contrast to Saturday, May 4, 2019, the Yellow Vests Caen should not return in numbers on the roundabouts, especially those of Ifs (roundabout blue) and that of Colombelles (Lazarro), will also closely watched by mobile gendarmes.
