The former world number 1, Angelique Kerber, was eliminated in the first round of Roland-Garros on Sunday 26th May, 2019. She lost in two sets to Anastasia Potapova.

Germany’s Angelique Kerber , former world No. 1 number five today, fell in the first round of Roland Garros to face Russia’s Anastasia Potapova (81st) 6-4, 6-2 in 1:13 on Sunday. of her the first eliminated top seed of the tournament Roland-Garros .
