Yellow Vests not convinced by Emmanuel Macron
Emmanuel Macron tried to reach out to the Yellow Vests during his press conference at the Elysee Palace, saluting the “just demands for the origin” of this movement which, since November, has profoundly changed the direction of its five years. All with the promise to deploy “more officials on the ground”, reduce “significantly” income tax or remove the ENA.
Saturday, the scale of the mobilization will measure the reaction of the street. On April 20, the Yellow Vests were 27,900 throughout France , according to the Ministry of the Interior, 100,000 according to their own count.
