The Coordination démocratique de Bretagne is campaigning for a united Brittany with 5 departments. The Collective, took advantage of the Interceltic Festival of Lorient to make the demonstration on Saturday. The demands of the oranisation is for a return of Nantes into Brittany and the recognition of the Breton language.
A hundred people took part this Saturday at the meeting place of the town hall, before making a large looping procession through the city centre. All taking up the slogan “As in Wales, decide in Brittany! “
The organisation demands a referendum on self-determination.
