The weather alert with an orange alert issued was extended to 49 departments, Pyrenees border to the East , through the Mediterranean.

At least ten departments are on orange alert: Ariège, Aveyron, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Pyrenees-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées and Tarn.
Other departments on weather alert
Also concerned by the risk of hail, wind gusts and floods, 39 other departments, including the Meurthe-et-Moselle , the Meuse , the Moselle and the Vosges have been placed on orange alert.
