Since today, parcel delivery subsidiary of the La Poste delivers parcels on Sundays, but for now only in some cities …
Good news for a month of Christmas … To avoid queuing in shops, more and more French people choose shopping online. They can now be delivered every day … even on Sunday. This Sunday the 19th November, Chronopost has delivered packages for the first time on Sunday. But all the French will not qualify for Sunday deliveries immediately.
Ile-de-France and 14 cities
According to LCI , some cities only benefit from this new service subsidiary of La Poste: it only works in Île-de-France and in fourteen major cities: Nice, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Rennes, Grenoble, Nantes Reims, Lille, Strasbourg, Lyon, Toulon and Aix-en-Provence. Another limit to consider is that the parcel deliveries are only made on Sunday morning between 9am and 1pm.

A successful experiment
Before embarking on a lasting basis of the delivery on a Sunday, the Post office had engaged in an experiment at Christmas. In 2015, she had completed deliveries on Sunday 20th December in some cities.
