The storm Zeus passed France early in the week, but the damage it has caused is still not all repaired. No fewer than 45,000 homes were still without power on Wednesday at midday, mainly Brittany and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, according to a new assessment of Enedis.

At midday, including 25,000 customers were without power in Brittany and 13,000 in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, said electricity distribution network manager, which continues its operations in the field.

At the most critical moment on Monday night, more than 600,000 homes were without power by the storm that caused the deaths of two motorists killed by falling trees in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Dordogne.
