This number down 0.5% compared to January 2017 (50 people under one month). This figure is slightly up compared to the previous three months, but down 5.9% year on year.
More unemployed in one year
In late February, 20,470 jobseekers were registered in category A, B, C (or not having exercised an activity), up 0.8% on month (additional 170 people registered), 1.4% three months and up 0.8% year on year.
The number of young people and the over 50’s decreases
In February, the number of registered less than 25 years (category A) was down 2.2% (40 persons less) or 1780 registered. This figure is down 1.7% over three months and 13.6% year on year (or 280 persons under registered over one year). There was also a 1.2% decrease in the number of job seekers over 50 years old on a month, registered 2570 (30 persons less). However, the number increases over three months (+ 0.8%) and year on year (+ 1.6%). Finally, for 25-49 years, the number of registered in February increased by 0, 3% (or 6 100 registered in February 6080 against January). This figure is also up 1.5% over three months but down 6.4% on the year.
