A young driver from Cognac, 28 years old, was pulled over at a routine test by gendarmes at 4pm on Wednesday at avenue Victor Hugo because his car is fitted at the front with tinted glass which is now prohibited.
The police conducted a saliva test which proved positive for cannabis and cocaine, that blood tests performed during custody, confirmed.
Already convicted for similar offenses, the young man could be brought this afternoon before the duty judge to the prosecutor of Angoulême.
