Friday, firefighters from Ballots and Château-Gontier intervened at a place called La Verrerie in Fontaine-Couverte, for a electric meter explosion. It caused a power outage in eight buildings.

Two electric cables jump
Although little damage was reported for the farm buildings, the explosion blew up two electric cables above the road D25. Enedis intervened immediately to isolate the electric meter and remove the cables on the road. Traffic has been alternating during repairs.
Seven other buildings and a farm are affected by the power outage. It is estimated that the cables will be repaired and power supply returned to normal before 4.30pm today.
