Lewis Hamilton won a long and daunting Brazilian Grand Prix and keeps intact its last title hopes. The Columbia, started in pole position, kept a cool head and took away from the accident to win for the first time at Interlagos. The English equivalent to 12 points of Nico Rosberg.

Leader in the World Championship, Nico Rosberg will have to wait to be mathematically champion. The German finished second. Everything will in Abu Dhabi in two weeks for the grand finale of the season of Formula 1. Max Verstappen was third.

In the pouring rain in Sao Paulo, the departure was postponed for ten minutes and the race was interrupted twice. The rain still cost Romain Grosjean to give up! Whilst making his way to the grid, the French driver lost control of his car and crashed into the wall of the last corner. He did not participate in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
