Three men were shot dead on Saturday night at around 10.30pm during a shootout in Bassens city in the northern districts of Marseille , according to sources close to the investigation.  Three individuals were also slightly injured in what appears to be a settling of accounts, said the source, adding that the circumstances and the weapons used were not yet known.
