A total of six departments in the South of France are on orange alert …
Yesterday, Sunday, Meteo France placed the Haute-Garonne on yellow vigilance because of strong winds that will blow all day through the department. This Morning, Monday, the level rose to orange, as well as in the Tarn and Herault, but also the Aude, the Pyrenees-Orientales and Gard for rain and flood risks.

Violent winds are also announced by forecasters for the departments of Midi-Pyrenees.
Gusting to 110 km/h in the Lauragais
The highest wind speeds should peak “this Monday afternoon and early part of night with speeds up to 120 to 130 km/h near the terrain south of the Tarn, 100-110 km/h at the Toulouse Lauragais plain. They fade in the second half of night from Monday to Tuesday, “the bulletin Météo France.
