The railway lines from Nantes to Pornic and Nantes to  Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie will once again be re-opened.

From August 18th to the 28th, test trains will run on the two lines to make the final checks.  Aboard these convoys, there will measurement instruments, “to ensure the safety of the line,” said SNCF.  Level crossings operate automatically during the test phases.

The traffic of regional express trains (TER) will resume on Sunday, August 30th.

Originally scheduled for July 5th, the re-opening of railway traffic had to be postponed for two months for”security reasons,” explained then SNCF.
