Whilst I was down in Nantes the other day, watching the Giant Puppets being paraded throuigh the streets of Nantes, I took the oppourtunity to take a look at the Grand Elephant at the Les Machines de l’île in Nantes.
It really is quite big and moves gently making elephant noises and squirting water from its trunk.
It really is impressive, and if you get a chance to go and have a look at it, you should take a look. If you want to, you can also ride on it as well, something that I didn’t have time to do this time, but will allow more time next time I visit.
