Lady Gaga, pop diva and sartorial extravagance, will succeed the British group Coldplay headliners of the show at the last Super Bowl.
Coldplay was assisted at the concert held at the halftime of the well-attended final North American Championship of American Football (NFL) by Bruno Mars and Beyonce.
An “historic” event
The NFL said the announcement by Lady Gaga its participation in show “was only the beginning of a series of ads for an event that promises to be historic” .
Lady Gaga had already participated in the last Super Bowl: she sang the American national anthem before the start of the meeting.
Some 111.9 million viewers on average had followed the last Super Bowl won 24-10 by Denver face Carolina.
Traditionally, hearing peaks were recorded during the show of halftime, allowing the broadcaster to monetize Super Bowl advertising spots at astronomical prices: in 2015, 115.5 million viewers had followed the concert .
