The 340 gas bottles were stored in a truck parked in the parking lot of a Saint-Aignan de Grandlieu, south of Nantes. They were found hidden in a field, spotted by a helicopter of the Gendarmerie.
The theft occurred in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the parking lot of a transport company based in Saint-Aignan de Grandlieu, south of Nantes. A truck carrying 340 gas cylinders was stolen. It was found a few hours later under a bridge of the Nantes ring road, by Basse-Goulaine. Its cargo was cleared.
Gas cylinders were all found on Sunday 22nd January, at 12.30pm, stored in the field close to where the truck was abandoned. They were spotted by a helicopter of the Gendarmerie.
