After the success of the first two races, the 5 kilometre returns to Nantes for the third consecutive year. At each stage, riders receive coloured powder and end up in a smoked rainbow sky.

What is the Colour rad me ?
A colourful race 5 kilometres. In small groups, the runners pass by four colour stations, they became wet and finish in a powder rainbow sky. After the success of the first two races in previous years, the event returns to Nantes for the third consecutive year.

The entertainment after the race?
Up to 3pm, the city hosts three DJ’s. A Nantais, selected on social networks, and two DJ’s from Fun Radio, Mico C and Maeva Carter.

Always so successful?
In 2014, the race brought together 8000 participants. In 2015 the number rose to 10 000 participants. This year, the amount of people racing is only 4200 people which are registered.

Is it risky powder to skin or clothing?
A good shower and a laundry sufficient to remove all traces of coulours. Two students of the national School of chemistry of Rennes upper however analyzed its effects on skin. According to them, this powder (imported from India cornstarch) may cause skin irritation. It can be used for this type of event but both advocate students to wear goggles and a dust mask. For the organizers, “the powder is guaranteed non-allergenic, non-flammable and safe for the environment. Color me rad has attracted 120,000 runners in various races throughout France in two years, without having experienced any problem. “
This Sunday from 10.30am. with the start of the race at 11am at the Exhibition of the Beaujoire, St. Joseph road in Nantes.
