The factory located near Le Havre will produce the new Nissan van. The site, hiring, doubled its production last year.
The company Renault Sandouville (Seine-Maritime) will produce, from the last quarter of 2016, the new van Nissan NV 300. According to Renault, 100,000 utility vans of this type should be assembled by 2026, an average production of 10 000 vehicles per year. “230 million euros were invested over three years to create the new line for the Renault Traffic and reorganization of the plant,” reveals Jean-Luc Mabire, the director of the factory seinomarine. A new line for the traffic which also allows mounting foreign derivatives, such as the Nissan utility van, but also the Vivaro for Opel and Vauxhall. In the second half, Sandouville Renault will produce the new Fiat utility van that will replace the Scudo.
