Anyone living here in France who wants to send Christmas gifts and cards to friends and family in the United Kingdom, needs to make sure that they are all posted before the 9th December to make sure that they arrive by Christmas Eve, according to La Poste.
Also, from the 1st January, postal prices are due to rise by about 14 per cent, from 66 cents to 76 cents for internal post within France and for post to the United Kingdom from the current 83 cents to 95 cents.
