Decathlon, Nature & Discoveries… Cargo Bikes Recalled Throughout France for Risk of “Injury”

The RappelConso platform has launched a product recall throughout France concerning several cargo bike models, for which a “production anomaly” has been identified.
“With its large loading capacity, this electric cargo bike is designed to transport your daily life to bike, in town and on the road, boasts the Decathlon brand website, which markets the brand’s U-Cargo Lite, Junior, Family and Pro models AddBike.
Yet an anomaly slipped into these bike models, to the point that, Friday 5th December 2025, the RappelConso platform launched a product recall throughout France, for risk of “injury”.
A “potential production anomaly”
Concretely, RappelConso takes over than a “potential production anomaly” occurs “at the level of the bending of the fork sliders” for certain bicycle models of the AddBike brand, sold at Decathlon, Nature & Discoveries or even Ankorstore.
The references recalled are all sets of “U-Cargo Lite, Junior, Family and Pro bikes equipped with a rigid fork, whatever the color or equipment”, indicates the sheet from the government platform.
