The publicity was effective. The police had launched an appeal for witnesses after the disappearance of Cassandra on the 2nd December, aged 15. She had run away for three days and her relatives had not heard from her, until Friday morning when the girl was found in Bordeaux.
The wanted notice, which gave a description of the teenager, asked anyone who may help police to contact her. The matter has now been resolved.
