A miracle. Sunday, a man who was bungee jumping at the Souleuvre ( Calvados ) viaduct fell from a height of a few meters and finished his race in a body of water. The elastic has yielded for an unknown reason, reports Ouest-France .
Assisted by firefighters, the victim was hospitalized in Vire for control examinations. “He came out in the late afternoon,” said AJ Hackett teams on Facebook, the site managers.

The scene was filmed by a person at the foot of the bridge where the man jumped. At the Souleuvre viaduct, the jump is 61 meters high. In the video, we see the elastic release while the thirty touches the water. Analyzes must now be conducted to understand the facts. “This is the first time that the activity of bungee jumping has an accident,” said the director of the site, interviewed by Ouest-France .
The bungee jumping activity will be closed until further notice. The other activities of the Souleuvre viaduct – including a zip line, the swinging jump or tree climbing – remained open on Sunday.
