The actress Anémone has died aged 68

The actress Anémone died Tuesday 30th April, 2019 at the age of 68 years following “a long illness” said her agent to AFP.

The actress Anémone, Caesar of the best actress in 1988 for Le Grand Chemin , died Tuesday at 68 years after “a long illness,” told her agent, Elisabeth Tanner.

Unforgettable Thérèse

Unforgettable in  “Le père Noël est une ordure”  where she played Thérèse, the acolyte of the actor Thierry Lhermitte at the permanence of SOS Amitié, Anémone had started his career in the café-theater within the troupe of Splendid.


Le père Noël est une ordure” , theater in 1979 and cinema in 1982 in the adaptation made by Jean-Marie Poiré, in fact a very popular actress in the 1980s.

With many comedies like Viens chez moi, I live with a girlfriend (1982), she also embodies more sensitive roles like the character of Marcelle in “Le Grand Chemin” (1987), which earned him a César year next.


In recent years, she had appeared on “Jacky au royaume des filles” (2014), “Rosalie Blum” (2016) and “La Monnaie de leur pièce” (2018), her latest film.

She also performed regularly on the stage until her last play in 2011, Pregnancy Nervous , a comedy in which she embodied a great bourgeois as unexpected as desperate.

Sick for a few years, she had taken a step back and had no commitment to come, neither in the cinema nor in the theater.

Her real name Anne Bourguignon, she was the daughter of the psychiatrist André Bourguignon and Claire Justin-Besançon. She was the mother of two children.
