The French actress will resume her role of Dr. Madeleine Swann in the 25th installment of the James Bond saga. Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek is expected to play the new villain.
And two for Léa Seydoux ! After her first appearance in Specter , released in 2015, the French actress will be back in the running of a James Bond . His participation in the cast was announced this Thursday, April 25, 2019 during an event dedicated to the 25th installment of the adventures of Agent 007, whose title has not yet been revealed.
Léa Seydoux will again play Dr. Madeleine Swann, alongside Daniel Craig , who is expected to wear the British officer’s costume for the last time.
“I am very happy to be back and looking forward to getting started,” said Léa Seydoux during the presentation from the villa in Jamaica where British novelist Ian Fleming created the character James Bond.

Actor Rami Malek, Oscar winner for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody , enters the cast.
“I promise to make Mr. Bond was not an easy task for its 25 th mission”, said in a video posted on social networks Rami Malek, hinting that he would endorse the role of villain for this new installment of the adventures of his Majesty’s famous spy.
Britain’s Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw will also return as “M” and “Q”, while American Jeffrey Wright will play Felix Leiter again. New faces include Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas and American Billy Magnussen.
First “American” James Bond
“It has definitely been an honor to be chosen” to direct this 25th film, said Cary Fukunaga, the first American to tackle a James Bond film, the majority of directors having been British.

Stating that filming had already started in Norway and Jamaica, the director said that “the team would return, after Jamaica, to London”. Producer Barbara Broccoli has it specified that the 25 th component would begin with a James Bond “taking advantage of Jamaica.” Expected release on April 8th, 2020.
