Apple unveiled a series of new services

This Monday 25th March, 2019, the Apple brand has unveiled Apple TV Plus, its new video service supposed to compete Netflix, and also announced Apple News and Apple Arcade.

Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, JJ Abrams … to compete with Netflix , Apple  releases heavy artillery. On Monday 25th March, 2019, at a keynote in Cupertino , California, the Apple brand unveiled its new streaming video service, Apple TV Plus .

It will be available in over 100 countries starting this Autumn. The price has not been revealed yet.

It will be readable on all Apple devices, from iPhone to iPad, not to mention the Mac and Apple TV, but also on TVs from major brands such as Samsung or LG.

Director Steven Spielberg, hired by Apple in 2017, will be in charge of the Amazing Stories series. TV presenter Oprah Winfrey has announced two documentaries in production.




Apple News, Netflix of the press

Tim Cook also unveiled Apple News, a Netflix of the press. This digital subscription kiosk, aims to offer a wide range of articles from different media. Only available in the United States and Canada, it costs $ 9.99 per month. No date has been advanced for Europe.


Another big announcement, Apple Arcade, a subscription system that will allow playing video games from the AppStore. A catalog of 100 games will be available this Autumn, although what games are also unknown.
