By seeing parcels every day, it had to end up giving them ideas … In the evening of Monday 20th August, 2018, at around 10pm, two employees of the postal sorting center, aged respectively 18 and 24 years, were caught in the act of stealing parcels.
They opened and then stole the contents of the parcels
It was the La Poste security officer who spotted the two individuals while committing their theft. The latter were, indeed, opening the packages to steal what was inside. After being alerted by the guard, a night crew of the police quickly came to challenge the two young men.
Already known to the police
Caught in act of theft, the two employees of the postal service are already unfavourably known by the police for other similar facts. During their arrest they were found with several objects likely stolen, and were placed in custody.
