At 248 km / h instead of 110! On the occasion of the first major departures on vacation, the gendarmes of Maine-et-Loire intercepted a biker who was driving at a brisk pace between Doué-la-Fontaine and Saumur, near the municipality of Cizay-la-Madeleine.
The 26-year-old pilot, a Saumur resident, also had a blood alcohol level above 0.5 g/l. His license was removed on the spot and his motorcycle was immobilized by justice, leaving the scene on the pound shelf.
