An accident between a school bus and a car occurred on Tuesday 17th April, 2018, in Mortain-Bocage (Manche).
A school bus and a car collided on Tuesday , April 17th, 2018 , around 4.30pm, in Mortain-Bocage, Normandy.
The accident occurred at Clairet, at the crossroads between the Barenton-Mortain and Le Teilleul-Mortain axes.

The passenger trapped in the vehicle
The car was occupied by a couple of fifty years.
The passenger, trapped in the vehicle , had to be extricated by firefighters. Slightly injured according to preliminary findings, she was transported to the Avranches hospital , as was the driver of the car.
The bus without passengers
The school bus had no passengers on board. The bus was going to start its tour at the school exit, in Mortain.
The driver was transported by firefighters in shock to the hospital center of Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët.
About fifteen firefighters from the Mortain, Juvigny-le-Tertre, Barenton and Le Teilleul rescue centers were hired for this accident.
Visibility from the Teilleul would be involved. This is the second accident in two months on this intersection.
