“A profound humanity”
“Author, actor, creator passionate, genuine smuggler of Loire heritage, our region needs her magnificent achievements like the Theater of the Loire Valley that he founded or imaginary meetings that have illuminated the ligériennes abbeys of Nieul-sur- Autise to Épau through Clermont, the Roe, Nyoiseau, Saint-Georges-sur-Loire, Montreuil-Bellay, Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu and of course Fontevraud.
This is a great cultural figure who has just died, and with it, a man of deep humanity with which I have had the luck and happiness to work when I was the Regional Vice Chairman in charge of the culture.
My thoughts are with his family, especially his daughter, and all his relatives. With them, we mourn the departure of “King John” leaving a cultural legacy he now returns to grow.“
