Track Cycling: François Pervis is the Kilometre World Champion

François Pervis became world champion kilometer for the fourth time this Sunday in Hong Kong.

The Mayennais, François Pervis, 32, was crowned kilometre world champion for the fourth time in his career. He beat compatriot Quentin Lafargue (26 years).

After missing the World Championships in London last year, François Pervis had at heart to put the record straight in Hong Kong this year. The 32 year old cyclist has the cannons to adorn gold in the kilometre. He beat another Frenchman, Quentin Lafargue.  Already crowned in the discipline in 2013, 2014 and 2015, Pervis confirms that he is the boss of French cycling track.

From Château-Gontier, the native gets there his seventh world title in all disciplines since he had already been recognized twice in Keirin (2014, 2015) and once in the individual sprint (2014)
