Loire-Atlantique: Caught Speeding at 158 km/h in 70 km/h Zone

The speed, on this road that crosses the old Zad of Notre-Dame-des-Landes (Loire-Atlantique), is logically limited to 70 km/h.
It is a mythical road in Loire-Atlantique: it crosses the Zad and was a hotbed of struggle of the Zadists, who had sown barricades there. Since then, it has been returned to traffic. And the speed is limited to 70 km/h.
Except that Saturday, around 11 am, at the intersection with the Rue du Bois-Rignoux, a vehicle was caught speeding at over double the speed limit at 158 km/h. This excessive speed was noticed by the gendarmes who were watching the road with a speed camera.
The driver’s license obtained in September 2018 was immediately withdrawn and his vehicle was impounded on the spot.
