A person was hit by a train, near Grentheville between Mondeville and Cagny near Caen (Calvados) this Wednesday 22nd May, 2019. The victim died.
The firemen of Calvados were called around 4pm in the town of Cagny, on the railway track.

The traffic is disrupted since 3.50pm on the line Caen – Mezidon to allow the intervention of firefighters and the police on the spot.
TER Caen-Rouen and Caen-Lisieux have been removed. Just like those of Saint-Lô towards Lisieux and Lisieux towards Caen.
Buses were set up from the Caen station to transport passengers to Lisieux.
