Seine-et-Marne Placed on Yellow Alert for Snow and Ice

The Seine-et-Marne was placed on Yellow Alert for snow and ice by Meteo France this Wednesday, January 9.

Meteo France has put the Seine-et-Marne in vigil yellow snow and ice until Thursday 10th January. The alert could be extended.

Be attentive this night and tomorrow morning by taking the road. Météo France is forecasting the return of the ice storm in the coming hours in Seine-et-Marne . She has also placed the department level yellow snow and ice on Wednesday, January 9.

Temperatures are expected to drop sharply tonight to stagnate around zero degrees. Result, frosts are expected until at least Thursday morning, 10 am.



Météo France, has for the moment placed the department on alert until January 10 at 16 pm but could very well extend this period. The establishment provides indeed snowfall in the night from Thursday to Friday in the east and south of the department, as in La Ferté-sous-Jouarre , Coulommiers or Melun.
