“Strong electrical activity”
In its bulletin of 7pm , Meteo France indicates that a stormy episode is in progress “in the Pays de la Loire and Pyrénées-Atlantiques Landes”.
The storms have amalgamated into a vast rainy-stormy system continuing its course towards the north. The active stormy line which is now heading towards Maine-Anjou and Loir-et-Cher is well structured and brings hail and strong gusts of wind, followed by an episode of heavy rain.
Late in the evening, on the Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques, “the storms continue to chained until the first part of the night next, but of less intensity. Wind gusts should be less intense and hail falls are rarer than those observed in the north of the zone.
According to Meteo France, they can overflow towards the Gers and the Lot-et-Garonne, but always with less intensity.
