This Sunday 20th May, 2018, the Mass of Pentecost will take place in Lille (59) at the Grand Palais. The entrance is free.
This is the second time that the diocese of Lille will live the Pentecost version XXL. The first time was in 2013, for the 100 years of the diocese! Nearly 1000 confirmands had received the sacrament.
Retransmission
For those who can not move, the ceremony will be broadcast live on Wéo TV with the sound and comments of RCF Nord de France.
To relive this ceremony, it will also be rebroadcast on Monday, May 21 at 11:30 (11 am on Wéo Picardie) and Saturday, May 26 at 07:30 (07 am on Wéo Picardie).
Animations and decor
Mass begins at 3:30 pm Sunday, May 20, but in front of the number of people expected (10,000!), It is better to come before. Especially as animations are planned to allow to gradually enter the process. The doors will open at 1:30 pm. Twenty priests will give the sacrament.
Two hours before the mass, animations will take place: scenic play on the Acts of the Apostles (with dancers), videos, songs with Exult Deo and 150 choristers.
The decor is particularly neat: banners, crosses and liturgical furniture were made by disabled people from the Home Marthe and Marie in Lomme and members of the chaplaincies EPSM Bailleul, Armentières and Saint-André.
Magnetic buckle and sign language provided.
Without registration. Duration of the Mass: 2 hours 15 minutes
