Beware if you have to take the road at night or the morning of Sunday 3rd December, 2017 . Meteo France has decided to place the North of France in orange alert for snow and ice.
According to experts, the freezing rain may occur from 3 am and last until about Midday:
“A weakly active disturbance will approach northern France overnight current and precipitation arriving on the east of the region should take a locally Freezing character, especially in the second night party on the eastern half of the region. The first freezing rain is expected to affect the eastern half of North and Aisne department at 4/5am “
Meteo-France adds that some snowfall can be observed on the eastern borders before the freezing rain.
